The Medicaid Transformation process required most current and future Medicaid recipients to enroll in one of two health plan options: Tailored (NC Medicaid Direct with an LME/MCO like VAYA) or Standard (Medicaid Managed Care). This process required all Medicaid recipients to choose a primary care provider. Individuals are able to select a plan to meet their unique needs.
