How Can I Protect Myself from Measles?
The measles vaccine (measles, mumps, rubella vaccine, also known as MMR) is the best way to protect yourself from measles. Getting both doses of the vaccine is 97% effective at preventing measles.
If you or your child is not immune to measles, the Chatham County Public Health Department offers measles vaccines through its Siler City Clinic. To schedule an appointment for a measles vaccine, call 919-742-5641.
