ADOPTED CHATHAM COUNTY TRANSPORTATION PLANS
- Chatham County Bicycle Plan
On July 18, 2011, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Chatham County's first Bicycle Plan. Siler City adopted the plan on August 1, 2011 and Pittsboro on October 10, 2011. The plan identifies biking networks and potential infrastructure and policy improvements for the county. - Chatham County Thoroughfare Plan, 1983 - Please visit the Thoroughfare map only
This is the most recently adopted thoroughfare, or highway, plan. A thoroughfare plan was also completed in 1996 but was not adopted. A new plan, now called a Comprehensive Transportation Plan, is being developed (see Transportation News for more information.) - Chatham County Comprehensive Transportation Plan
