The Chatham County Housing Department invites qualified nonprofit agencies and organizations to apply for grant funds from the Chatham County Housing Trust Fund to develop and preserve affordable housing for persons who live and work in Chatham County. $325,000 is available for grants in the HTF27 application cycle. Entities interested in a loan from the HTF should contact Chatham County staff (below).
Entities considering applying in the 2026-2027 (HTF27) Application Cycle should indicate their interest via email to housing staff (below) to stay informed of coming events and any Q+A or errata for application materials. HTF27 applicants should use only the guidelines referenced in this brief to inform applications for awards.

| September 9th at 12pm | Optional information session, email county staff to register |
| October 7th, 12pm | Optional initial proposals due. These proposals will be reviewed and will receive feedback and requests for further information on or before the 14th. |

| December | Awardees notified, contracts developed |
