GOLDSTON, NC— Goldston Public Library announces a temporary closure due to parking lot sealing and striping. The library will be closed on Monday, July 27, 2026, and will reopen on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, during its regular business hours.

WHERE: Goldston Public Library at 9235 Pittsboro-Goldston Road, Goldston, NC 27252

Library patrons are encouraged to keep borrowed materials until the library reopens. Items may also be returned to the other Chatham County Public Library locations—Chatham Community Library in Pittsboro and Wren Memorial Library in Siler City—which will remain open during their regular business hours.

"We truly appreciate the community's patience and understanding as we complete these important parking lot improvements," said Juana Gomez Soriano, Goldston Public Library Manager. "Although the library will be closed for one day, these enhancements will help provide a safer, more accessible, and more welcoming experience for everyone who visits Goldston Public Library. We look forward to welcoming our patrons back when we reopen on July 28."
