Community Action Network's Poverty Simulation is an interactive learning experience designed to help participants better understand the realities of living in poverty. During the facilitated simulation, participants take on the roles of families facing financial hardship and work to provide basic necessities and housing while managing a limited budget through four 15-minute "weeks." Along the way, they interact with community agencies, navigate unexpected challenges, and experience barriers commonly faced by individuals and families with limited resources. The simulation encourages participants to view poverty from multiple perspectives while fostering discussion about opportunities to create positive change within the local community.

Registration is required and may be completed online at https://tinyurl.com/CCL-Poverty.
