Homegrown tomatoes are one of the most rewarding parts of a summer garden—but they can also be one of the most challenging crops to grow successfully. Warm nights, frequent rainfall, high humidity, and increased pest and disease pressure can frustrate even experienced gardeners.

Matt Jones, Horticulture Agent with N.C. Cooperative Extension - Chatham County Center, will lead an informative workshop on identifying and managing the most common pests, diseases, and physiological disorders affecting garden-grown tomatoes. Participants will learn practical techniques to help keep tomato plants healthy and productive throughout the growing season.

This workshop is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
