Chatham County Invites Residents to Vote on Summer Camp “I Voted” Sticker Designs

Pittsboro, NC — The Chatham County Board of Elections and Chatham County Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources have partnered to engage summer campers in a civic learning initiative designed to teach the importance of elections and voting through creativity and participation. Campers and counselors created original “I Voted” sticker designs as part of a hands-on educational activity focused on civic engagement. With more than 100 submissions received, the top 10 designs have been selected, and Chatham County residents are now invited to vote for their favorite design.

WHEN: Voting is currently open and will be closed on July 16.

This initiative provides an opportunity for young campers to learn about the voting process while allowing the broader community to participate in selecting a winning design. It highlights the importance of civic education and encourages community engagement across all ages.
