GOLDSTON, N.C. — Goldston Public Library invites families and community members to experience traditional games from the American colonial era during its upcoming "America 250: Games" event. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about 18th-century recreation through hands-on demonstrations and historical interpretation.

This program is designed for families with children of all ages and offers a fun, educational opportunity to explore everyday life in colonial America. Participants will engage with hands-on activities while learning about games, customs, and clothing from the 18th century.

WHAT:
America 250: Games
• Interactive demonstrations of traditional colonial-era games
• Learn how games such as Cup and Ball were played during the 18th century
• Historical interpretation of colonial clothing and attire
• Presented by Cindee Campbell and staff from the House in the Horseshoe
• Free and open to the public; no registration required
