Growing and Using Culinary Herbs: Free Educational Program at Chatham Community Library
Post Date:06/09/2026 11:53 AMPITTSBORO, N.C. — Residents interested in gardening, cooking, and sustainable living are invited to a free educational class on growing and using culinary herbs at Chatham Community Library. This hands-on session will teach participants how to plant, maintain, harvest, and use a variety of popular herbs commonly grown in the local area.
Attendees will also learn about the best herb varieties for this region, creative ways to use fresh herbs in everyday cooking, and practical techniques for plant propagation and seed saving. The program will be presented by an NC State Extension Master Gardener volunteer.
