Chatham Community Library to Host Growing Vegetables in Containers Class
PITTSBORO, NC — Chatham community members are invited to learn about “Growing Vegetables in Containers”. This free learning program is open to the public. Registration is not required.

Join Matt Jones, Horticulture Extension Agent with NC Cooperative Extension – Chatham County, for an informative session on the basics of container gardening. This program will cover the fundamental principles of growing vegetables in containers year-round, including selecting suitable containers, choosing appropriate growing media, understanding light and water needs, and managing nutrients effectively.
