Spring into Reading: Friends of the Chatham Community Library Spring Book Sale
Post Date:03/19/2026 9:05 AMPITTSBORO, NC— The Friends of the Chatham Community Library will host their annual Spring Book Sale, offering the community an extensive selection of books and media. The sale will feature more than 18,000 items, including hardbacks, softbacks, DVDs, audiobooks, vinyl records, and CDs. Admission is free to the public.
WHAT: Friends of the Chatham Community Library Spring Book Sale
WHEN: Thursday, March 26: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Friday, March 27: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, March 28: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
WHERE: Chatham Community Library, Holmes Family Meeting Room

All items are in excellent condition. Genres are sorted and conveniently displayed including special collection items.
Purchases can be made by cash, check, or credit card. Members of the Friends of the Chatham Community Library will receive a 10% discount on purchases of $5 or more on Thursday and Friday.
Pricing:
• Thursday, full price - $4 for hardbacks, $3 for softbacks, Children's books are $2 and $1”
• Friday, all items are half price
• Saturday, fill a grocery bag for $5 (including DVDs, CDs, and vinyl records)
• No buyer limits
*Please note that no large containers will be allowed into the salesroom at any time. This includes bins, tubs, crates, oversized boxes and extra-large bags.
Sale proceeds benefit the library by enabling the purchase of new books, materials and equipment; securing new children’s programs; and improving technology and services.
