Chatham County, NC — Chatham County Public Libraries (CCPL) invites residents to participate in one of four upcoming community focus groups designed to gather input on library services, programs, spaces, and resources. Community members of all backgrounds — including regular and non-library users, students, seniors, and residents from across the county — are encouraged to attend.
WHAT: Focus groups.
WHEN & WHERE:
• Wednesday, March 4, 2026 — Holmes Family Meeting Room, Chatham Community Library located at 197 NC Highway 87Pittsboro, NC 27312
• Thursday, March 5, 2026 — Chatham Grove Community Center located at 1301 Andrews Store Road, Pittsboro, NC 27312
• Monday, March 9, 2026 — Wren Memorial Library located at 500 N 2nd Ave in Siler City, North Carolina 27344
• Thursday, March 19, 2026 — Goldston Public Library located at 9235 Pittsboro Goldston Rd Goldston, NC 27252
TIME: All focus groups will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
These small, guided discussions will build upon data collected during CCPL’s Community Input Survey, conducted from October 15 through December 2025, which gathered feedback from more than 600 participants.
Focus group discussions will help:
• Assess the library system’s current strengths
• Identify areas where services can be improved or expanded
• Establish informed priorities to guide CCPL’s 2026–2031 strategic plan
Community input is critical to fulfilling the mission of Chatham County Public Libraries. Residents are encouraged to join the conversation and help shape the future of library services in Chatham County.
