Chatham County Board of Elections Reminds Voters: 2026 Primary Election Day is March 3

Chatham County, NC — The Chatham County Board of Elections reminds all registered voters that Primary Election Day will be Tuesday, March 3, 2026, with polls open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

PRIMARY_ELECTION_DAYThis is a partisan primary for the Democratic and Republican parties. Voters should note the following:
• Democratic voters must vote the Democratic ballot
• Republican voters must vote the Republican ballot
• Unaffiliated voters may choose either the Democratic or Republican ballot on Election Day

All voters must cast their ballots at their assigned polling location. Polling places will be open during the hours listed above, and voters are encouraged to confirm their polling place ahead of time.
