CHATHAM COUNTY, NC— Due to expected winter weather conditions, the following Chatham County Government offices will be closed this weekend, January 31-February 1, 2026:

Solid Waste & Recycling
All 12 Collection Centers will be CLOSED on Saturday, January 31, 2026.

Libraries
All library branches will be CLOSED on Saturday, January 31, 2026.

Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources
Programs- All recreation activities will be CANCELED on Saturday, January 31, 2026.

Parks- All parks will be CLOSED on Saturday, January 31 and Sunday, February 1, 2026.

Chatham County is currently under a State of Emergency due to the predicted winter storm. The storm will likely impact County operations and services into next week, and additional information will be released as it is available.
