Chatham Celebrates America 250 to Host Screening of New PBS Documentary “The American Revolution”
Chatham County, NC—Chatham County Celebrates America 250 invites the community to a special screening of the first episode of the upcoming PBS documentary series The American Revolution. This six-part, 12-hour series—directed by Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein, and David Schmidt, and written by Geoffrey Ward—offers an in-depth exploration of the nation’s founding struggle and the eight-year War for Independence. Community members of all ages are welcome to attend. This event is free and open to the public.
