CHATHAM COUNTY, NC— Chatham County Public Libraries and Hoops Pizzeria are excited to announce Pizza for Pages, a free program that challenges Chatham County students to read books and earn a free pizza from Hoops Pizzeria in Pittsboro. The challenge is now underway and will run through the end of the 2025-2026 school year.
WHAT: Students in grades 1-12 can sign up for the Pizza for Pages program at all three library branches: Chatham Community Library in Pittsboro, Goldston Public Library in Goldston, and Wren Memorial Library in Siler City. When a student signs up, library staff will give them a Hoops Pizzeria punch card. For each book they read independently, a staff member will punch the card. Once a child’s card has 10 punches, it may be redeemed for a free personal pizza at Hoops Pizzeria (limit one pizza per month). Any student in Chatham County can participate whether they attend public, private, or homeschool.
WHEN: From November 1, 2025, through June 10, 2026.
