Chatham County Honored with 2024 Annual Safety Awards Recognizing Excellence in Workplace Safety Across County Departments
CHATHAM COUNTY, NC – Chatham County is proud to announce that several of its departments have been recognized with the 2024 Annual Safety Awards for achieving and maintaining outstanding safety records. This honor highlights the county’s ongoing commitment to fostering safe and healthy work environments for its employees.
The North Carolina Department of Labor Annual Safety Awards program recognizes public and private organizations that demonstrate exceptional commitment to workplace safety, including reducing accidents and promoting employee well-being
The following Chatham County departments will be recognized for their 2024 safety achievements:
CHATHAM COUNTY BUILDINGS & GROUNDS 5th year gold - 2024 Safety Award
CHATHAM COUNTY HEALTH 5th year gold - 2024 Safety Award
CHATHAM COUNTY RECREATION 5th year gold- 2024 Safety Award
CHATHAM COUNTY SHERIFF/JAIL 3rd year gold- 2024 Safety Award
CHATHAM COUNTY TELECOMMUNICATIONS 3rd year gold- 2024 Safety Award
CHATHAM COUNTY WASTE MANAGEMENT 7th year gold- 2024 Safety Award
CHATHAM COUNTY SOCIAL SERVICES 7th year gold- 2024 Safety Award
CHATHAM COUNTY TAX 12th year gold- 2024 Safety Award
CHATHAM COUNTY LIBRARY 12th year gold- 2024 Safety Award
