Goldston Public Library to Host Meet and Greet with Town Mayor Jonathan Hensley

GOLDSTON, NC—The Chatham community is invited to Goldston Public Library to secure their library card and meet with Goldston Town Mayor Jonathan Hensley on Monday, September 22 at 5:00 p.m. This program is free and open to the public.

GO_Sept. 22 Meet & Greet SpanishMayor Hensley will discuss the projects coming to the Goldston area including the library’s expansion project. Participants will be able to ask the mayor questions about the town or the different roles a town mayor has. Light refreshments will be provided during the session.

Getting a library card is simple and is an essential step toward academic success and lifelong learning for people. To obtain a library card, applicants ages 16 and older must supply a current photo ID and proof of current address. A parent or guardian must present an ID and sign the library card application for children 5 - 15 years of age. Accepted forms of identification include Faith ID, passport, student identification card, valid driver's license, or valid state identification card.
