When you live in an 1850 Greek Revival farmhouse 3 1/2 miles down a gravel lane behind locked gates deep in Army Corps of Engineers land on the shores of Jordan Lake there are probably some really good stories you could tell. And sometimes those stories don’t tell the whole truth. But shouldn’t they? Join Commissioner Karen Howard for a talk about the historic John A. Mason House where she resides with some mice, a bunch of spiders and the occasional bald eagle.
