DESCRIPTION:<p>What is the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA)?</p><p>On March 11, 2021, President Biden signed the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) into law making funds available to local governments to help the nation recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. These funds can be used to:&nbsp;</p><ol>    <li>Support public health response,</li>    <li>Address negative economic impacts caused by the public health emergency,</li>    <li>Replace lost public sector revenue,</li>    <li>Provide premium pay for essential workers, and</li>    <li>Invest in water, sewer, and broadband infrastructure.&nbsp;</li></ol><p>Join us to share your thoughts about how we can maximize the impact of Chatham County's ARPA funds.
