PRINTMAKING/BLOCKPRINTING & FLOWER POUNDING ON PAPER
Join botanical maker, Dr. Deena Class, and block printing artist, Dolly R. Sickles for an enriching make-and-take class that highlights both of their artistic areas of focus: flower pounding together with hand-carved stamps for block printing. We'll sharpen our drawing and sketching skills while working to hand-carve stamps, then hammer fresh flowers and leaves from farm-grown dye plants onto paper goods for a beautiful mixed-media design! Don't forget to bring a lunch! Supplies included. One-class session.
