The Chatham County Agriculture Advisory Board will host a Public Hearing on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 from 6:30pm to 9:00pm at the Chatham County Agriculture and Conference Center, Exhibit Hall A,  located at 1192 US 64 Business in Pittsboro.

The Ag Advisory Board will hear comments from the public until 9 pm. Comments will be strictly limited to 3 minutes and should be relevant to the agricultural impacts of the proposed Enbridge Pipeline project. Speakers may only speak once.

There are two ways to sign up to speak during the public comment period:
1. Sign up by emailing agriculture@chathamcountync.gov and submit your name (first and last). Email sign up will be cut off at noon on the 18th. 
OR
2. Sign up in person before the meeting begins from 6:00pm to 6:20pm.
These names will be alternated.

Written comments are encouraged and may be submitted at agriculture@chathamcountync.gov.
