Chatham Community Library will host a "Growing Vegetables in Containers " class on Thursday, April 30,  from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm in the Holmes Family Meeting Room. This program is free and open to the public. Registration is not required,

Join Horticulture Extension Agent Matt Jones (NC Cooperative Extension - Chatham County) for a free lecture on vegetable container gardening. This program will cover the fundamental principles of growing vegetables in containers year-round, including selecting suitable containers, choosing appropriate growing media, understanding light and water needs, and managing nutrients effectively.
