Reentry Simulator and Panel Discussion

Ages 18+

In recognition of Second Chance Month in April, and in partnership with Chatham County Diversion and Advocacy Programs, Chatham Community Library will host a reentry simulator on Monday, April 13, from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm in the Holmes Family Meeting Room. This program is free and open to the public. Registration is required and is capped at 75 participants.

A reentry simulator is an interactive, empathy building workshop that mimics the challenges of transitioning from incarceration back into society. Participants assume a "reentrant" persona and spend about 90 minutes navigating stations (e.g., probation, employment, housing) over four simulated weeks. It highlights systemic barriers and the difficulty of meeting, or exceeding, strict, sometimes impossible, requirements.

Register for the simulator at the following URL or click and scan on the QR code below: https://tinyurl.com/CCL-Reentry
