The Chatham County Board of Commissioners and the Chatham County Board of Education will hold a Special Joint Meeting on Monday, March 2, 2026 at the Chatham County Schools Central Services building located at 468 Renaissance Drive in Pittsboro. The meeting will be held at 6:00pm.
The purpose of the meeting is for discussion between both the Chatham County Board of Commissioners and the Chatham County Board of Education on the following topics:
- Welcome and introductions
- Receive a presentation on enrollment projections by OREd
- Receive a presentation from Chatham Park
- Receive a presentation on school growth
- Receive a presentation on the alignment of capital and long-range planning
- Discuss next steps and future coordination
