Artemis II Space Launch with Carol Trembath

Chatham Community Library will host NASA Solar System Ambassador Carol Trembath for a program on the Artemis II Space Launch on Friday, February 6, from 1:00 - 2:00 pm in the Holmes Family Meeting Room.  This program is free and open to the public.

Artemis II builds on the success of the uncrewed Artemis I in 2022, and will demonstrate a broad range of capabilities needed on deep space missions. The Artemis II test flight will be NASA’s first mission with crew aboard the SLS (Space Launch System) rocket and Orion spacecraft. The crew includes Commander Reid Wiseman, Pilot Victor Glover, Mission Specialist Christina Koch, and Mission Specialist Jeremy Hansen.

Carol Trembath is an educator with over 30 years of teaching experience in several Michigan school districts. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Western Michigan University. She was awarded from Wayne State University a Master in Library and Information Science and from Michigan State University a Master in Educational Technology. In addition, Carol is a Michigan author. She published four books about Native Americans along with an award-winning novel about Harriet Tubman. Carol is also a water activist and environmental speaker.
