Ukraine: A Volunteer's Story

Chatham Community Library will host Carrboro resident Philip Semanchuk who will discuss his months as a non-combat volunteer in Ukraine  on Saturday, November 15, from 1:00-3:00 pm in the Holmes Family Meeting Room. This program is free and open to the public.

Why would someone volunteer in a country at war like Ukraine? How would you get there? What would you do once you arrived? What if you found that the experience meant so much to you that you went back again and again? Semanchuk  will answer all of these questions and more. The presentation includes many personal photographs and will end with a dedicated Q & A session.

Funding for this program is made possible with the generous support of the Friends of the Chatham Community Library.
