The Chatham County Board of Commissioners will hold a Special Meeting on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at at the Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center located at 1192 US 64 West Business, Pittsboro, NC 27312.

The Special Meeting will begin at 9:00 am.

The purpose of the meeting will include presentations and discussion between both the Chatham County Board of Commissioners and the Climate Change Advisory Committee concerning:

Funding Climate Action.

Climate Impacts on Energy Use and Energy Burden, and the Role of Local and State Policy.

Coordinating Climate Action Plans and Community Engagement: Pittsboro, Orange County, and the Greater Region.

Chatham County Work Underway: Solid Waste, Heat Action, and More.

Developing a Vision for Climate Action in Chatham County.
