The Chatham County Board of Commissioners will hold its Work and Regular Sessions on Monday, July 27, 2026 at the Historic Chatham County Courthouse,  9 Hillsboro Street, Pittsboro. The Work Session will begin at 1:00 pm and the Regular Session will begin at 6:00 pm.

Agendas and minutes are available through the County's Legistar Site.

For first-time visitors to the Legistar site:

1. Click the drop-down menu next to the search field and select "All Years."
2. Click the "Meeting Date" column to sort meetings from most recent to oldest.

These settings should save for future visits.

Sign Up to Speak

Persons wishing to speak during the public comment session may register by completing the Public Comment Sign-Up Form.

Persons wishing to speak during a public hearing may register by completing the Public Hearing Sign-Up Form.

Written Comments

Persons who do not wish to speak in person may submit written comments by emailing boc.clerk@chathamcountync.gov.

Written comments received will be included as part of the meeting record and meeting minutes; however, they will not be read aloud during the meeting.
